A-Plant Accommodation Increases Its Storage Offering

To meet increased demand for secure storage facilities, A-Plant’s Accommodation Division has enhanced its fleet of equipment by purchasing over 500 storage units manufactured by Containex. The order comprises of a combination of 10ft and 20ft units which are available to hire from A-Plant Accommodation Service Centres nationwide.

Manufactured from robust, galvanised steel, the secure stores offer storage of up to 10 tons and offer anti-theft protection for storing goods on construction or customer sites. With optimal paintwork comprising a cathodic dip coating and a high quality powder coated top coat, the stores are both corrosion and UV resistant. Security features such as galvanised locking bars and anti-jemmy devices ensure that the stores offer excellent protection against theft or vandalism. The new stores can be handled with a crane or forklift truck and can be stacked up to three units high.

Ian Needham, A-Plant’s Director of Accommodation said: “These units provide our customer base with additional storage and not only are they ideal for use on construction sites, they offer a flexible space solution for end users. For example, they could be placed on petrol forecourts for storage of additional stock or they could be used in school grounds for storage of seasonal items. They’re also ideal for storage of exhibition materials or for storing bulky items that businesses may have difficulty finding room for.”
