To meet ever increasing customer demand for intelligent road signs A-Plant Lux Traffic Control & Management has purchased 50 new state-of-the-art Portable Solar Variable Messaging Signs (VMS) manufactured by PWS. The Highways Agency approved signs are going straight into the A-Plant fleet and are available to hire from A-Plant Lux depots nationally.

The signs offer optimum environmentally friendly features and can run for one whole year without the need for external re-charge. They operate using the latest LED and Solar Technology from an intuitive web based programme that allows customers to remotely update the message on the signs, offering benefits to users and motorists. The signs can reduce costs massively, aid journey times, provide queue warnings and reduce primary incidents, along with offering several other advantages.
