A-Plant Teams Up With British Superbike Challenger

    A-Plant has teamed up with exciting prospect Aaron Zanotti as he competes in the fiercely contested MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. The leading hire company has sponsored Aaron and the A-Plant Suzuki team for the 2012 season.

    Aaron, who hails from Loughborough and is 31 years of age, is mounting his Superbike challenge on a newly built Suzuki GSX-R1000. He has already competed at Brands Hatch, Thruxton, Oulton Park and Snetterton, with the British Superbike season culminating at Brands Hatch in October. Under A-Plant’s sponsorship Aaron has also lined up in the inaugural Silverstone 200 – a unique two part, 100km support race which heralded the first time that riders from four different world, British and National Championships competed head-to-head.

    British Superbikes (BSB) is the world’s third largest motorcycle race series, watched by around seven million TV viewers and attracting up to 35,000 spectators per round. BSB attracts some of the best riders from nations all around the globe. Aaron is also featured in the August 2012 edition of Bike magazine.

    A-Plant’s Marketing and Strategic Accounts Director Asif Latief said: “We are delighted to have forged a partnership with Aaron who is a very promising Superbike rider. During the season the A-Plant Suzuki team have made many improvements to his bike and we’re delighted to give Aaron a genuine opportunity to take some championship points. We’ve been able to take some of our most important customers to the BSB rounds and they’ve been very impressed with Aaron’s performance.”
