Scottish Expansion for Survey Hire Express

A-Plant has opened a state-of-the-art Survey Hire Express centre in Paisley, Scotland. Just five minutes from Glasgow Airport, the M8 and a corner kick away from St Mirren FC, the new centre has been developed to effectively serve Scotland with the latest survey instruments.

Almost £1 million has been invested in new equipment such as Robotic Total Stations, GPS and Machine Control along with hi-tech servicing and calibration equipment, brand new delivery vehicles and an experienced team of survey professionals.

Heading up the team in Paisley is Service Centre Manager Stephen Noble: “Despite being a new location we’ve got a really experienced operation, there is over 60 years’ survey hire experience amongst the team. We have worked for leading manufacturers and suppliers such as Korec, Sitech, Pentax and Leica.”

Stephen continued: “At Survey Hire Express our biggest advantage over our competitors is that we’ve very much adopted the multi-brand approach, offering our customers a range of brands such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica and Spectra. Whatever our customers want we have the survey solution for them, including the latest in 3D machine control systems. We also repair, calibrate and service all makes and models of surveying equipment and we hold a large selection of spares ready to be distributed across Scotland.”

Survey Hire Express so far has eight strategic locations across Great Britain, offering a full range of Robotic Total Stations, GPS and Machine Control solutions, and accessories such as nails, survey books and line-marking paint. The company continually invests in the latest technology and products to ensure customers have access to reliable, up-to-date equipment, supported by a dedicated team of survey experts.
