Brightlights, a division of A-Plant, is a specialist provider of a wide range of modern, mobile lighting equipment for hire to the events and industrial sectors.
The Brightlights Story
The Brightlights story began in 1999 when it opened its first service centre in Wickford, Essex. By 2005, it was supplying the V Festival with temporary lighting and has done so every year since. In 2012, it was acquired by Eve Trakway – the trackway pioneers – and in 2014, it became a division of A-Plant. Brightlights opened its Barking service centre in April 2016.
Being part of the largest plant and tool hire company in the UK, with its huge investment capabilities, Brightlights can offer one of the most up-to-date mobile lighting fleets around. Popular products include standalone man-manageable area lights, compact and powerful mobile tower lights, and self-powered power cube lighting. £2.3m has been invested since 2013.
And it’s not just about products, with almost 20 years’ experience providing temporary lighting solutions, Brightlights offers a consistently first class range of services to its customers.
Clients receive a fully serviced package ensuring their projects are handled professionally - from the initial phone call through to completion. Expert teams have a bespoke approach to projects working closely with customers to select the best choice of equipment. Full project management is available for complex installations.
As with all A-Plant divisions, Brightlights’ customers can take advantage of A-Plant’s suite of services including A-Guard Insurance, the A-Plant Guarantee, the newly upgraded extranet, Axis, and the award-winning national network of customer training centres of excellence.
Brightlights ensures that its employees are fully competent by equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications to be able to carry out their duties safely, without risk to themselves or others, and to do their jobs successfully. Employing teams of specialist installation crews and experienced project managers means that customers are always in safe hands. The skilled and qualified workforce gives Brightlights a differential advantage in the equipment rental business.
