We provide Calibration, Repair, Hire and Supply of test equipment and instrumentation through our network of mobile calibration vehicles and our main lab in Hull. Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Calibration Engineer to join our Laboratory Team in Hull.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Calibration Engineer, you will provide a ‘best in class’ service to our customers. You'll calibrate, adjust and repair test equipment and instrumentation including Electrical, Temperature, Pressure, Torque, Gas Detection, Flow and Metrology. 

You will generate calibration certificates using our computer systems and deal with customers on the phone, by email and in person at our trade counter. The role is based at our lab in Hull, but there will be times where you will travel to local customers to calibrate equipment on site. On rare occasions you may work further afield and be prepared to stay away from home over night (fully expensed).

What you will need to bring to the role:

  • An Electrical/Electronic (preferred) or Mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Instrumentation experience would be highly desirable
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels with excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective planning and organising skills with strong attention to detail and close adherence to Company standards and procedures
  • A flexible, reliable and responsible approach with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team
