The £150 million National Automotive Innovation Centre is a new 33,000m2 development currently under construction at the University of Warwick. Scheduled to open in Spring 2017, it will become the hub for Jaguar Land Rover’s research and will comprise workshops, laboratories and virtual engineering suites, enabling a full range of design, visualisation and prototyping activities. Not only will the new facility enable Jaguar Land Rover to create key technologies, it will also deliver wider benefits to the UK automotive industry and 1,000 people will work at the NAIC once fully open.
As one of the country’s leading construction and facilities companies, VINCI Construction UK works on high profile projects all around the country, including the Kings Cross development, the transformation of Pier 1 at Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal and the redevelopment of Tottenham Court Road Station.
Gatwick Airport is the UK’s second largest airport, serving some 38 million passengers each year.
