Astra Site Services Products
We hold the UK’s largest and most modern attachment hire fleet and the largest range of Saddles (head stock), allowing us to fit attachments to almost every make and model of excavator.
Our attachments are available to hire or to purchase and our range includes:
Compaction Plates: Also known as whacker plates or vibrating plates, a compaction plate makes quick work of soil compaction in trenches, foundations and slopes, and increases both productivity and site safety. Available in different sizes for different trench widths, they can compact up to 60 cubic yards per hour. Our compaction plates are available to fit excavators that are between 2 and 30 tonnes.
Hydraulic Breakers: We supply hydraulic breakers from the leading manufacturer Soosan, to ensure high levels of performance and reliability. Hydraulic Breakers are used for demolition activities, road breaking, and secondary breaking in quarries, and our attachments are available to fit excavators between 1 and 55 tonnes.
Demolition Attachments: Our heavy-duty demolition grabs have a 360-degree rotation, a wide biting area and powerful closing force, making them perfect for moving heavy and bulky materials in a wide range of applications. Our demolition shears are designed for dismantling steel structures and cutting thick metals such as pylons and RSJ’s.
Pallet Forks: Our pallet forks fit onto a standard excavator to enable it to manoeuvre heavy, palletized equipment. Forks are available to fit excavators between 12-22 tonnes.
Augers: Used for drilling holes into the ground for landscaping, fencing and construction projects. The excavator drive units can have a range of flytes (augers) fitted to achieve various digging depths of up to 3m. They will fit excavators between 1.5 and 30+ tonnes.
Piling Attachments: We supply a range of pile croppers including round, square and 4 jaw variations, to give a ‘clean cut’ and significantly reduce pile cropping time. Astra are the UK dealer for Taets, the leading manufacturer of pile cropping equipment and our fleet holds the UKs largest range of 314 and 380 links.
