A-Plant Completes Hat-Trick of Five Star Rail Ratings
For the third consecutive year running, A-Plant has been awarded five stars in the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) audit.
Five stars is the highest possible rating that can be achieved in the RISQS audit, and it demonstrates that an organisation’s business management system meets the Network Rail Sentinel Health, Safety, Operational and Competence standards required for working in the rail environment. It provides an independent, third party qualification assessment of the capability to provide products and services to meet customer requirements and the demands of the rail sector.
Chris Ryan, A-Plant’s Head of Performance Standards said: “It is an excellent achievement to attain the optimum rating for three years running. The audits have become increasingly rigorous and this confirms that our Performance Standards Team implements some of the industry’s most robust procedures, and importantly that our Rail locations follow them. Being RISQS audited allows us to hire equipment to rail projects, whilst assuring our customers that we surpass the highest of industry standards.”
A-Plant’s Rail division supplies a wide range of rental equipment and related trackside services to the rail industry. In addition to A-Plant’s five star RISQS award, the company is an active member of the Rail Alliance, the membership organisation that sits at the very heart of the rail supply chain. As a Rail Alliance member, A-Plant Rail regularly collaborates with customers and suppliers to develop and promote innovative and sustainable solutions for the benefit of the industry.
