A-Plant Picks Up A Prestigious RoSPA Award
A-Plant is a winner at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2017, the company achieved the Gold Medal (six consecutive Golds) award in the prestigious annual scheme run by RoSPA.
Douglas McLuckie, A-Plant’s Director of Risk Management commented, “This is the sixth consecutive time, and the ninth in total, that A-Plant has achieved gold standard from RoSPA. The awards recognise continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention at work. As part of the awards our health and safety management systems were put under rigorous scrutiny by RoSPA, which means that customers can rest assured that A-Plant is well and truly setting the safety standard.”
Douglas continued, “Health and Safety are of paramount importance at A-Plant, every item in our hire fleet is continually tested, maintained and serviced. Our staff receive stringent training on an ongoing basis and we have introduced a number of initiatives to enhance safety within the construction industry, and ultimately assist with the reduction of on-site accidents.”
