Christmas Cheer for Mather+Stuart Power Solutions
Mather+Stuart Power Solutions has secured a prestigious contract to supply temporary power to the largest German Christmas Market outside Germany and Austria. The company is supplying a range of generators from 80 - 250 kVA to power Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market.
One of the key reasons why Mather+Stuart Power Solutions was selected for this contract was the company’s major investment in its power generation fleet and, in particular, the ability to supply recently acquired JCB Broadcrown Generators which incorporate the latest telematics technology, and have a bespoke supersilent design tailored to meet the specific needs of Mather+Stuart Power Solutions customers requiring stand-by power.
Mather+Stuart Power Solutions has supplied 1 x 250 kVA Generator, 3 x fully synchronised 200 kVA Generators, 1 x 125 kVA Generator and an 80 kVA Generator to Frankfurt Christmas Markets Ltd., all of which are supplying power to the food and drink stalls at the Christmas Market. The Generators are fitted with JCB Livelink telematics which allow online real-time monitoring and management of fuel consumption, performance statistics and servicing schedules, plus geo-fencing of the units.

Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market attracts visitors from across the city and the UK, featuring over 180 stalls selling gifts, jewellery, decorations, authentic German food and Glühwein. The market has run for over 15 years and is the centrepiece of the city's Christmas events. The signing of the Frankfurt-Birmingham Partnership Agreement in 1966, began an unprecedented period of collaboration between both cities that has resulted in numerous joint projects and initiatives.
